The problem: a lead-acid battery that holds up the equipment
On an electric pallet truck or stacker, the lead-acid battery often sets the pace of the whole site. It needs regular topping up with water, a full uninterrupted charge and a ventilated room, and its capacity drops markedly after a few years of deep cycling. At end of life, a like-for-like replacement is expensive and brings back the same constraints for years to come.
On recent machines fitted with lithium from the factory, the problem is different: the manufacturer's pack is specific, its replacement price is high, and there is not always a standard equivalent.
The solution: an LFP pack built in Dijon, or restoring the existing pack
We build lithium iron phosphate (LFP) packs in our workshop to replace the original lead-acid battery: less than half the weight, no maintenance, charging possible during breaks, and a markedly longer cycle life. The most requested reference is the 24 V 100 Ah LFP battery, which replaces a 24 V lead-acid battery of 180 to 210 Ah for €770 excl. VAT, charger not included. For light pallet trucks, a 24 V 21 Ah lithium pack is available at €295 excl. VAT.
Switching to lithium requires a suitable charger: we supply it and set it up. On some stackers, the weight of the lead-acid battery contributes to the machine's balance; we take this into account from the study stage.
If your equipment is already lithium, reconditioning replaces the worn cells within the original housing, from €390 excl. VAT, price confirmed after diagnosis.
How the work is carried out
- Diagnosis of the existing battery, free for professionals: real capacity, BMS condition, tray dimensions and connectors.
- Quote excl. VAT with the chosen solution — new pack or reconditioning — and the lead time.
- Build or restoration at the Dijon workshop, then a test report handed over with the battery.
