Electric bikes (EPAC)

An e-bike battery loses capacity cycle after cycle: a few hundred charges in, the advertised range is no longer the one you get. Two routes exist from there, and they do not apply to the same bikes. On Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha or Brose drives the battery talks to the motor and rejects a third-party pack: only reconditioning the original pack — cells replaced, electronics retained — restores the range. On open systems (Bafang, generic downtube casings) a new pack built to the right voltage and capacity remains possible, and is often the cheaper option. We cover both, from urban 36 V to cargo 48 V, with the same checks before hand-back: measured capacity, internal resistance, protection thresholds recorded.
