Power tools

A tool battery does not always need replacing: when several packs in the same fleet reach end of life together, reconditioning costs markedly less than buying new. The principle is the same across platforms: the original electronics board and thermal sensor are retained and only the cells change, so tool and charger recognise the pack normally. Cell class matters as much as capacity: on high-discharge ranges, ordinary cells would cut available power at identical rated capacity. We work on 12 V to 54 V platforms from the main manufacturers, and convert older NiMH or NiCd tool packs to lithium, adding the BMS those packs never had.
